Published March 10th, 2020
As an effect of the COVID-19 outbreak and global measures taken to mitigate the spread of the virus, the demand for international air travel has been affected.
In response to the lower demand, Pit Air will in the next couple of months seek to reduce part of its short-haul network capacity within Europe. Furthermore, and in addition to the already suspended flights to/from Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Due to the current situation in Northern Italy regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, the Norwegian and Swedish foreign office has published new travel recommendations. The recommendation is to avoid unnecessary travel to the region. The safety of our passengers and crew being our first priority, Pit Air only flies to Rome in the South, but due to low travel demand has therefore decided to suspend all flights to from March 10th until April 3. All affected passengers will be notified.
